Hey I am moving to Huntington Beach in May and wondering what the commute will be like from Huntington Beach to Lomita?

I have to do it for school, so I can't really get out of it.

Any help or insight is appreciated. Thanks!

Depending on traffic and where you are in Huntington Beach, anywhere 35 minutes to 1 hour (could be longer if traffic is very bad)

It takes 20 minutes or longer just to get from PCH to the 405.

If you can access the carpool lane then it will be much better.

Take the 405 north to Wilmington Ave south, take Wilmington south to Lomita Blvd west, take Lomita Blvd to the city of Lomita. Reverse route on the way home.

I would not take PCH.

Generally they are unless you have a yellow HOV OK sticker or drive a motorcycle
