Turn off JERRY SPRINGER, get off the couch, quit eating those Bon-Bons and face the facts. Trump is going to be our next President of the United States.... wow.... it's been a long time since I typed that title with the respect it deserves... that felt GREAT!....

When he wins and you don't like it, you can jump on the plane and leave this country like so many liberal celebs have pledged to do... Join Whoppie, Cher and all the others... Enjoy your time away - nobody will miss you.
Seriously? Every one in NYC and Atlantic City knows Trump is a gonif (I borrowed that from our Jewish friends).

The idea of putting that lying crook (He has been sued numerous times BECAUSE he is a liar) in the White House is laughable. Whenever he screws up financially (more often than he lets on) he just declares bankruptcy. That means he totally denies responsibility. (Bringing us back to gonif)

Ironically, those of your ilk hate the current president because he takes full responsibility for his decisions, successful or not (well besides the racism, of course).

Sometimes, late at night, I almost want Trump to win so I can spend the next four years laughing my a$$ off as he dismantles the country and his supporters have to eat crow.

I see you're an egg counter. Not a chicken counter. Mark of a "true believer". Good for you! Saves you the bother of thinking for yourself doesn't it? Neat!

Regardless of what kinda counter you are - and regardless whether Trump wins the GOP nomination - he is not "gaining in popularity". Which was your statement. "Frustrated resignment" does not equate to "popularity". The numbers speak volumes of truth.

Trump is totally gaining in popularity! Its time to make a statement against what the establishment. Cruz blew it by teaming up with that fry-brain Kasich and then made it worse by picking the drama queen for running mate..Trump may not be a prefect candidate ,but, he is the best we have this time....Cruz is not willing to tap into any public sentiment..is he lost or what?
Poor John Kasich ...totally brain damaged and delusional.
BTW Tulemutt admires and supports John Kasich !! so much for the pretense...
TRUMP 2016!!!

This is why I'm no longer a registered Republican. The party base is terrifying to associate with.

lmao - 'scuse me I'll re-quote the statistics for you
Quote:
national polls puts Trump’s favorability at only 31 percent, while 63 percent view him unfavorably.

That’s a notable decline from late January, on the eve of the first votes in the GOP nominating process, when Trump’s average favorability rating was 37 percent, with 57 percent viewing him unfavorably.
As for "supporting John Kasich" ... heh. Not even. I do give the man credit for being a credible chief executive of the great state of Ohio. He's also not a sociopath. He's also a realist and pragmatist. I happen to disagree with almost all of his actual platform positions, however, and his foreign policy. Vigorously disagree with him.

I am not sure the source of this information, as 'mutt doesn't tell us. In any case, let me make a couple things clear:

1) The national media is tremendously opposed to Trump (this includes so-called news media outlets, comedy shows, etc.);
2) The GOP establishment is tremendously opposed to Trump and has run millions of dollars of ads against him;
3) The DNC establishment is tremendously opposed to Trump and is working feverishly to besmirch his reputation.

Do you suppose this has anything to do with these unfavorable ratings?

We support this candidate not because we agree with every issue. First, he cannot be bought by money. We also support him because the GOP has indeed become a joke. The issues that matter are where Trump trumps: Immigration, [unfair] trade (a concept I no longer support as it is now, a foreign policy that puts America's interest first and makes dependent allies pay and ensures we act only in our interest(s) - wars are a no no unless in OUR interest and last, the necessary strengthening of our military. These are the reasons why we support him. We want America to be feared and admired, not loved. To hell with the old altruistic internationalist/interventionalist American foreign policy. I do not support crap like making Egypt much-less Afghanistan a democracy.

I didn't bother with naming the source because any search of "Trump's popularity" will deliver a host of polling information supporting his extremely low favorability ratings.

But, since you asked:
Trump's popularity nosedives in critical stretch - POLITICO

And an extra for good measure from Gallup:
Trump's Popularity in Context

Cruz and Clinton also run excessively low popularity numbers, but beat Trump significantly.

Kasich and Sanders run positive, with Sanders far ahead of all. Even a significant percentage of Republicans find Bernie honest and credible in spite of disagreeing with his platform.

The problem with poll numbers regarding Sanders now is that he hasn't been vetted yet. The GOP would tear him to shreds over being a self proclaimed socialist, having sympathy towards Cuba's regime and the USSR, and the fact that he wants to tax everybody. Hillary has been vetted the last 25 years. There is nothing new. This benghazi crap is dead and has been nothing but a waste of tax dollars and time. My generation (millennials) seem to be obsessed with Bernie and I don't really get why. When you hear him and Hillary in town halls and interviews he always reverts to the same stump speech about wall street and the Iraq War. Hillary seems to be more realistic and nuanced in her policy discussions. Despite her flaws, she has the experience. With that said both are better than Cruz or Trump.
