Hi,
My family and I are moving to Orange County and were wondering what internet/cable provider people recommend.
Thanks

First tell us where in OC you will be living. To be honest all the providers suck. We really want google fiber.

A lot of people here are having problems with Frontier, who just recently bought Verizon's cable, landline and internet services. I had a slight problem, but lucky for me, it got fixed pretty quickly. Your provider does depend on your city, but if you can get Frontier, I would avoid them until they can get their act together.

You will have 2 options (ATT, COX, TWC, Frontier...) based on the location in OC.

Hoping for Google fiber to start.

Thanks for the advice. We will be moving to Los Alamitos. I think the options there are Frontier, TWC, ATT, Dish, Direct. We were using Comcast and I haven't had experience with any of the other ones besides ATT. Yes, I hope Google Fiber rolls into the area too.

COX over ATT any day. It took me several months and hours to get AT&T Uverse to cancel and stop charging us for service after it was cancelled. They even sent bill collectors after three separate AT&T reps promised to remove the charges and make it all go away.

I have Cox which pretty much has the monopoly where I live. It’s reliable but a complete rip off. How these companies are still viables businesses is sad. I’m just waiting for Google to be our savior.
