it's a chain, but I love BJ's Brewhouse.
I'm originally from Chicago and used to adore that type of deep dish. Now I find it heavy. BJ's pan pizza has a buttery, croissant-like crust. Yum!

Thin Crust/New York Style: Upper Crust in Irvine, hands down.

A close runner up for the same style would be Flippin' Pizza, also in Irvine-at MacArthur/Main, just off the 405.

My favorite is Pizza Port in San Clemente. Something about it, I don't know. I prefer it to the pizza I've had in Chicago and New York.

La Roccas in Huntington Beach. Closest thing that I've found to real NY pizza.

Directions to best pizza:

1) Uber to the airport
2) Fly to Chicago
3) Uber to your any deep dish pizza restaurant.

This.

I don't eat pizza, but if I did, it'd be Pizza Port although Sonny's in San Clemente is good too.
