I highly recommend looking into Eastvale, Temecula, and Murrieta. All three have are safe and have good schools, and are well within your price range.

The downside is that all three places are much hotter than the coast. Average summer highs are in the low 90s. It also gets windier there during the Autumn than it would along the coast (I'm talking about Santa Ana winds, which are very warm and very dry, sometimes with only single digit humidity).

Lol, are you talking about the old mobile homes and shacks of El Morro that were removed a decade ago, or are you talking about Emerald Bay - where Warren Buffett has houses?

I remember that. All the people living there were in a uproar. I guess years and years of cheap oceanfront living wasn’t enough. It was a state park and those people liv8n* there were absolutely getting a easy ride.
