well, at your price point and age, seal beach probably wont work anymore. leisure world is very affordable, but there is a minimum age. since they are only 39, seal beach will most likely be priced out. but if you can find something its a great relaxing place to live

The Central coast is the best place to live if you do not need to work. It is cheaper, not crowded and beautiful. Look North of LA on the coast, rather than South. Once you get north of Santa Barbra it gets cheaper and more beautiful with every mile.

Take care about whom you invite to dinner without first checking them out...
all trust is qualified, or you will have set yourself up to be fleeced.

Where are they from in Eastern Europe? I ask because I lived in Eastern Europe for 2 years.

The Central Coast is only cheap where it is not developed. Coastal cities like Carmel and Santa Cruz are only million dollar homes. Pebble Beach is just South of Monterey. North Coast cities are cheaper as stated earlier.

I would look more at San Diego. I know condos that are 20 minutes from the beach that are under $200K. I even found one for $101,000 and it was a 3 bed 2 bath condo.
