Would anyone happen to know, are there homes with no mailboxes, where USPS will deliver tracked packages but not First Class letters, and the resident would need a PO box for letters? Specifically on West Heather Ave. TIA.

Probably best to check with the post office for your particular area.

We had some christmas cards returned due to that very problem. Had the friends address in a tiny mountain town, but no
indication of a P.O BOX.

The village is very small and the post office would know the people since they have a very famous special bed and
breakfast....and we had their names and the bed and breakfast name and full address. But, no....they sent the card
back to us.

I often wondered why some of our friends would list their home address and the P.O Box....and we would write the entire address including the P.O. BOX as well. Well, this was some time back and learned that they were out in the rural areas that did not have mail delivery. They had to drive into their small town to the post office to get their mail.

Probably, direct contact with the post office would allow you to learn the exact procedure for the area in La Habra.

Merry Christmas to you all.

Heather Ave is not rural, but it may be in a high crime area, it's near La Habra High School.

I lived on Heather a number of years ago. That's right near downtown and is not rural by any stretch of the imagination. There should be mailboxes for every house.

Not so much that mail delivery would be affected.
