Good idea...Laguna Beach will look like Coney Island New York on the 4th of July (and the weekend)...get rid of Lisa Bartlett in Dana Point too...she went against the Scientists and mask wearing in that city as well.

Newport Beach is putting its beaches under a hard closure on the Fourth of July after two lifeguards tested positive for COVID-19.

Twenty-three colleagues are in quarantine. One of them is showing symptoms but hasn’t been tested yet.

Fire Chief Jeff Boyles said the lifeguard division has adequate staffing to cover for the lifeguards who are out of commission, but the remaining guards would be “stretched pretty thin.” Newport’s beaches will be shut down from 10 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Sunday.

Dana Point can pass out sticker for local residents, otherwise give outsiders a big fine. That’s how you can eliminate the out of town people.

They can't do that. Our beaches are not for the private use of the people who happen to live in the adjacent town; they are public beaches.

They close the beach and no parking, the locals can walk to it. It comes to the same thing.

Maybe you should write clearer, I don’t have a clue what you wrote. Don’t expect me to understand your slang.

Some of the hospitals are the super spreader, I think my mom went to this hospital when she was alive.

No, officially closing the beach and/or parking lots is not the same as handing out stickers saying residents of XYZ city can use the beach but no one else can. Lots of people who live in beach cities don't live close enough to conveniently walk to the beach; they drive there.
