Well, I got photos, but unfortunately overshot the date to get a photo of the tree in bloom. I think because it's still such a small tree, it quickly bloomed itself out (there are berries where the flowers were), while other crepe myrtles in the area are still covered with flowers. But it's there, and this is it.

It's on the east side of Culver just north of Irvine Blvd. There is no marker, but there was a string and tag (weight) from a helium balloon tied around the trunk at the bottom. You can just see that in the photos. I got one picture with Irvine Blvd. in the background and the other from the other side, looking north on Culver.
