It's mid July, but I'm wondering if it will be cancelled? Anybody heard anything?

I need my $12 beer and foot long sausage

racer,

Looks like it is still scheduled, but they have a note on the website to check with the organizers.

the date is july and august time frame, so perhaps you will get your wish. But, we would take
risk vs reward into consideration.

We also are hoping the virus has run its course by late may , early june, so we can get away from the restrictions and the usual JUNE GLOOM , and get out to the desert for sunshine, fun and hiking.

Unfortunately mother nature has the hammer , and us humanoids need to work with her .

All of us are going to be ready to bust free and regain our normal life styles.

I can't imagine it happening. The fairgrounds is owned by the state and their guidelines imply a fair will not be happening. San Diego announced it has postponed their June-July fair, OC usually takes place between July through mid-Aug, and LAC goes throughout September. So if OC doesn't happen, maybe you can catch it in Pomona.

The not-so-secret thing is that they are essentially the same fair. Yes, the musical acts and prize winning vegetables are different, but the rides, operators, booths, and venders are the same. It's like a traveling circus that goes from town to town...and currently that is not ideal when you're trying to mitigate the transmission of a highly contagious virus with no vaccine.
