I just moved to North Tustin area and bought a house here. It's a phenomenal area with great schools, awesome access to trails views, and nice sized lots unlike the crap they make in south county.

Anyone else live around here? Any good recommendations on restaurants or the like?

Reddit is a waste of time.

Nope, just not as bad as Reddit.

North Tustin is light on dining options, Best to slip down to Old Tustin for places like Honda Ya, Gen Korean, Barolo Italian and Chaak Kitchen.

Your other option is to head up to Chapman Ave in Orange for The Hobbit and the "Orange Circle" with Felix Continental Cafe, Gabbi's Mexican Kitchen, Haven Craft Kitchen, Pandor Bakery, The Wall, The District Lounge and Citrus City Grill.

Thanks for the suggestions Tim. I've been to Honda Ya and my wife liked it. She's the sushi person in the family.

It also seems like there's some good restaurants in the District we will check out.

This wind is pretty nutty! Thankfully power hasn't gone out yet ...

Yuck (kind of). While there are restaurants I like in The District, most, maybe all, are chain restaurants. If I can support a local restaurant over a chain, I will; not every time, but more often than not.

Old Town Tustin and The Orange Circle are both full of great, unique dining options that I'd try before hitting The District and The Marketplace.

Yes I lived near the Orange circle and loved. Gabbys, Francolis and Haven. The bread dip at Citrus can’t be beat but the food was just eh.

Is the Winery not good? Was planning on going there.

Went to Hopdoddy a few weeks ago and I thought it was pretty solid. Also I've been to other locations of Snooze and have enjoyed it.

Any other brunch places you would recommend?
