We are looking for a family friendly town to move to in SoCal. We really like the homes and price point of Ladera Ranch. We have heard south OC is more conservative leaning. We are minorities and would not feel comfortable living in a highly conservative area. What is it actually like there for minorities? How MAGA is it there? Other places we are looking at include Rancho Mission Viejo, or Irvine (diverse but more expensive).

Since we are talking about stereotypes; the MAGA types are poor and uneducated, they like the price point and home style where you are shopping.

You are moving to California, not 1960's Mississippi.

Careful, your intolerance and narrow-mindedness is showing.

Sorry.....out of stater just scanning the main board and saw this. "How MAGA is it there?"

Just when I'd thought I'd seen and heard it all. What a shame this has become the way people are conducting their lives.

I think Lasers would have voted for Trump, but not heavily.

Hillary actually beat Trump 61-32 in Irvine.

It depends if you understand the meaning of 'diversity' As an example, four family's that are white, black, latino and asian that live in four shades of beige new tract homes and all eat from the same supermarkets that all pray to the same god, That all like the same sports teams, that all lust after the same new SUV's, that all are contemptuous of people from outside the subdivision, that all log online with the same internet servers, that all take the same all inclusive vacations to the same part of Mexico. Now ask yourself are these four persuasions of humans really diverse at all?
