During these last 6 mos since COVID started, I've gone on some drives just for a change fo scenery, but I'm so sick of driving along PCH. I've done that several times from Long Beach to Laguna Beach.

I've driven up to Wrightwood once, but don't really care to go that direction.

I need more ideas, please! Anywhere in this county, LA, or San Bernardino County. TIA!

The toll roads in Orange County are all pretty scenic, stunning mountains, sweeping city views, all while you drive high up above the valleys.

You might need a four wheel drive, but Holy Jim is great, right outside of Rancho Santa Margarita.

Also check out Modjeska Grade Road and Silverado Canyon Road.

I myself would like to drive around Downtown LA, see how much the skyline has changed in just the past couple of years.

There was a bad fire in Holy Jim Canyon (Holy Fire) in 2018, and the road/trail has been closed for a couple of years now.

Just drive all the way down el toro and continue onward when it becomes Santiago Canyon. It’s great if you want a somewhat short/easy drive. I take it to jamboree, then down to pch from there.

If you want a longer day trip, drive up to lake arrowhead.

Look up Trabuco Oaks Steakhouse. There are some. Back roads there that are pretty cool. Y

You can go down the 15 to SD area Bonsall a d those areas and you can hit up some nice wooded back areas. Canyons farmland wooded sections.

If you’re into dirt biking and enduro stuff you can go,out to Salton Sea. Some sketchy areas but some cool views and you can camp out there
