Any members here have experience living in homes developed by the Olson Company?

how is the build quality? any issues with plumbing, electricals, etc...

looks like a lot of homes in OC (Los Alamitos, HB, etc.) are developed by them.

Thanks in advance!

I think Olson has a solid reputation, but I wouldn't call them a premium builder.

Most Olson home communities are located in urban areas, near the freeway, near the train stop, sometimes higher crime rate in downtown city, and usually have higher traffic flows and neighborhood noises than the industry average. Most properties sold are townhouses rather than single-family detached. It does have a lower median age buyers than all the builders across southern California.

This is a very bizarre answer. Almost all the Olson Homes developments I know are in suburban locations, no where near any train stations, are not in Downtown areas, are not in areas noted for high crime or higher than average traffic. The one development that could be called urban, is maybe the Leimert Park location, but the OP is asking about Los Al.

There is one in Costa Mesa on the SW corner of Harbor BLVD and Hamilton.
