We're getting ready to empty and prepare our mom's house for sale as she just went into assisted living. She's got a house full of mostly ordinary items accumulated over 60-ish years. There are a few collectibles, a nice set of china, crystal & silverware, a few decent pieces of furniture (newer), but otherwise a mish-mash of everyday stuff.

Time is of the essence. We don't have weeks to go through a long drawn-out process. We're hoping to find an estate sale (or some such) company to take off our hands the "sellable" items while we dump the trash and donate the smaller usable items.

Does anyone have any recommendations as to where we should turn?

I'm sorry to say nobody probably wants her old junk. Keep the good stuff, call 1-800-got-junk for the rest.

My friend owns Greyson estate sales. They’re very reputable. She’s even franchised her business to other states
