Think I'm kidding? Look up where most of the companies that engaged in nationwide mortgage fraud are based; that's right, Orange County!. Home of the $750K home on a $33K annual salary. Home of the Armada driver who can't afford the gas or the payments. Home of the uncultured yahoos that equate large breasts with success.

OC is SOOOOOOoooooooo fake that even the landscaping is phoney and if not watered for a few days the whole county would revert to its natural colors: DESERT BROWN.

Guys like these:

[Bunch of geeky pictures]
That makes a fair amount of sense. My grandparents left Nebraska when my grandfather joined the Navy, and he ended up working for 30 years at the Collins facility in LA County. Engineering geek. My dad worked for Lockheed (engineering geek, jr.) before going into business for himself. That's when we moved to Orange County, back when you could buy a pretty new house for around $100K. Yeah, there were orange groves then.

Love the smart boys. Ladies, don't go to bars to pick up men. Go to the computer lab.

Was it Collins Radio in Burbank? My dad worked there too, and then Lockheed too.

Here's that Collins Radio building in Burbank around 1958:

Sorry, I can't see the pic right now. Grandpa's building was in Carson, I believe. South of Torrance. I know he went up to Burbank a lot. I wouldn't be surprised if my grandpa knew your dad. He knew everybody.
