Hello, I'm new to OC and would like to find a very experienced colorist at a high end salon in the Fullerton area (surrounding towns OK, too). I just do partial highlights, but it's amazing how many ways there are to mess this service up.

As a bonus, it would be nice to have those who work on my hair not take smoking breaks where they come back in and smell like cigarette smoke. Nothing personal, I'm just really allergic.

I went to Dolce Salon/Spa in Chandler, AZ when I lived in Arizona, which was PERFECT. I'd love to find the same type of place in OC.

TIA!!!

Default well first off

well first off it wont be in fullerton the high end salon. you have alot of people who smoke in that area because it is on a scale of lower end.

you need to come to the oc in order to find the amenities you are looking for.

if you want some names I have them as I am very picky about my highlights, hygiene etc and have been going to the same person for 15 years. if you want her name let me know.

di

Since you are looking for a place in Fullerton, try Salon Lujon on Harbor Boulevard in old Fullerton. Nice, classy salon, great stylists also have a spa there too. I really missed them when I moved to rural Western PA, it took me 10 different colors (5 in one day) and three stylists to find one I liked. And you know where I met her? At my granddaughters dance recital. Went up to her, said I really like your hair, and found out she was a stylist. Lives in the boonies, but would travel twice as far to go to her as she is a gem.

Seconding Salon Lujon, they do a good job.

Also want to recommend Primarily Hair, in La Habra. (Just go up Harbor from Fullerton and it's pretty close.) My girl there, Jessica, did my wedding hair and is very skilled and sweet. Also doesn't ever reek of cigs!
