in Orange County where I might find a fixer upper 3-4 Br home around 2200 SF at a good price?

I have no problem redoing things, but I do not want to start with a 400k shell...I want something reasonably priced...

Any thoughts?

I consideredTemecula area but I do not it will work being the facilities I will have to travel to.

Thanks

the areas you're looking at will probably be the lower rung areas in the county. not entirely bad, but a little ghetto.

anaheim, orange, santa ana, garden grove, buena park, etc will all have properties that may fit your needs. basically cities east of valley view or knott, south of the 91, west of the 55(though orange east of the 55 can have that as well), and north of the 405.

at the square footage you're talking about you may be asking a lot though. these are post-war house and 70s/80s ranch houses you're talking about, 1300-1700sqft single story is the norm, but the lots are generally bigger as well on some of those properties, so there is room for expansion.
