Default discount/liquidators

also... does anyone know about these mattress liquidation places such as 1stopmattress in orange? i am a little hesitant to go purchase a mattress at a liquidation store but they clame they pass on great savings to consumers b/c it is either mattresses that are discontinued or the bag was ripped and the retail store refused shipment.
let me know your thoughts!

IKEA has been mentioned to death, of course, but there are also some decent places in Fountain Valley right at the Euclid exit off the 405 freeway. Just a couple off the top of my head are Oak Connection, Linder's, Ashley, and Eupsora Gallery, to name a few.

Ashley Furniture is AWESOME. My girlfriend and I both bought our furniture there and you're simply not going to find a better deal for quality furniture.

Ashley is what I consider mid-grade furniture. It's great furniture if you're just starting out. It's not the quality of say, Ethan Allen, or Storehouse, or say, what you might get directly from the furniture capital, North Carolina. I wouldn't feel uncomfortable about purchasing it, though, it'll last a while, but I'm sure you'll be passing it down to you grandchildren.

Ashley is OK. I bought a table set from there and it's definately middle of the road. In my opinion too expensive for the quality you get. I found a great deal on a Serta mattress at Big Lots. Check them out! You can also find incredible deals from people on Craigslist giving away or selling for cheap hardly used furniture. I got a free office desk- real modern- glass/black/sleek.
