We need to figure out where we are moving. We are looking for a place that is:
1. More family oriented, and hopefully down to earth.
2. Safe
3. Healthy (air quality, etc)
4. Has farmers markets and holistic health care available.
5. Waldorf/Montessori schools or a good homeschool community.

Here's the kicker. We need a place that has RV parking, garage space (at least 3 car), on a lot bigger than 6500 square feet. And no association that freaks out over parking trailers next to your house. Anyone know of this place?
Please help!

I am not sure where in Ca you will find what you are seeking, but I would suggest maybe looking at some area outside of Sac or maybe look in some other states...

Hopefully someone else will have a better suggestion, maybe some of the desert areas, way east of Los Angeles..Heck, I don't know.

I love living in Ar, but some of what you want is here and not in the more desirable areas, there are also places like that in NM.

We are hoping to stay in Southern California. Part of me wants to leave the state but family is here.

The first place that comes to mind is Tustin but you're going to be hard-pressed to find a community with HOA that allows for RV parking. Your best bet is to try and rent a private home.

Where is your job(s)?
Buy or rent? Budget?

There's an old Groucho Marx line that goes like this: "I don't care to belong to a club that accepts people like me as members. "

You can get what you want, it will cost you a premium though. What is your budget?

You might want to look for neighborhoods that have RV parking as a part of the association. We are pretty lucky, our association has a boat and RV lot at the end of one street. We pay $20 extra on our dues to park our RV there and it is just three blocks down from our house. Its a great deal.

You should ask a realtor to help you find something like this maybe too.

On Orange COunty, The City of Orange is probably your best bet. Look in Orange Park Acres (not much under $1 million there though).

OUtside of Orange County, there are aome great communities North of sacrmento that fit your desciption. You will not find a "down to earth" Atmosphere in much of Orange COunty. There are lots of down to earth people, but the general atmosphere is one of materialism and pretense. Not everyone gets caught up int hat, but enough do that "down to earth" is really not a term that will be used to decsribe any part of OC.
