Give it a another year or two. I went to college in Michigan after growing up in San Diego and I too liked the extreme changes in weather, at first. Trust me, it gets old quick when simple things become a huge PITA, or things you use to do year round without a second thought become either impossible, or very uncomfortable, a good chunk of the year.
