Or Santa Monica, or any West Side LA area where density is high, and space is rare.

But the border of Costa Mesa/Santa Ana? Somewhere, a development director is crying over the lives he's ruined.

Not when you consider that my father was a Marine Corps Major in those days and money was always tight. Total pay with separate rations, basic quarters allowance and flight pay for him was about $760 a month. Not a lot of money and lunch out was a treat! The nice thing is, I never felt deprived!

Not for me it doesn't and I'm the one who lived it. Guess it's clear where your values, if they can be called that, lie.

Bump

I visited the area (Socal in general) and had lunch with someone there. Santa Ana didn't look too bad. Yea, I could tell it was mostly Mexican but I was driving around the town for quite a bit and it didn't look bad at all. Quite a few nice looking girls in the area (then again, I am partial to Hispanic girls).

Good thing I read about the prostitution and hollering at girls from cars in this thread! So would it have looked like I was a "John" even when I would've been doing good ole fashioned skirt chasing?? That would've been bad.
