Hello, I am new to the forum. I will be soon working at UCI Medical Center, and I was wondering if anyone had any advice on where to live. Specific apartments where people have had a good experience would be awesome. I hear so many horror stories about some of these places, and I can't really afford any super nice places that people say to live in. I am looking to spend ~$1200/month. I guess the closer to Orange the better, but I am willing to drive if it means living in a better apartment. So if anyone has lived in a nice apt nearby, please do me a big favor and post the name of that apt. Thanks a lot.

Why don't you go on Craigslist. Org and search for places in the cities of Fullerton, Orange, Placentia, or Yorba Linda?

Default We used to live...

what is now called Villa Toscana apartments. They were renovating when I left - it is about 20 min from Orange, has nice land lords, lets you have pets, and when I went there a year and a half ago or so - no more like 2 years now... the rents were decent. You should still be able to get a 1 br for the price you want. The good thing is it is 10 min from beach and the 22!!!

My sister lives in the Hills of East Orange in a really nice 1 bedroom condo. She is thinking about renting it to take a job up north. PM me and I can get you some info. The area is very safe and really beautiful (Santiago Canyon area).
