My Mother-in- law is in her mid 80's and lives with family in a mobile home park in Dom Hills.
She would really benefit from the activities of a senior center but from what I understand no such services are offered where she lives. So, I was wondering if there is a volunteer program whereby she could have transportation to a neighboring town with a senior center. She was very active with the seniors where she lived before she moved and being active again would really help her a great deal.

Did I post this on the correct thread? I cannot believe there are no services available to seniors who live in 90220. Should I try posting elsewhere? Where we live there is RSVP...retired seniors volunteer program. +55 volunteers who help seniors with transportation, shopping etc. Nothing in the area like this for my Mother in law?

Dominguez Hills is in LA county and certainly not close enough to Orange County for senior activities. Try re-posting in LA county and see if you get a better response.
