Poor choice. College enrollments are up because their are no jobs around. College dorms are full so that's creating a huge demand for off campus rental housing. By October it'll be tough to find a cheap place to stay in a college town like Corvallis.

I would suggest you find a womans's shelter where you are and start rebuilding your life one step at a time.

Good luck.

What are your particular interests or hobbies? You will end up much happier if you find a supportive community of people who share your interests and are welcoming. Some smaller towns are very insular, and that will not be helpful. Most college towns would be better options, so maybe a college town within 30 minute drive of the coast, or one on the Columbia Gorge. I feel that most communities in the west seem to be dog friendly. Please take care of yourself, and God bless you.

Default I need help

Get out as soon as possible....like everyone is telling you. You don't know when he might snap. A woman's shelter is the best bet until they can set you up in a new place. Don't forget because your on SSDI, if he knows your Social Security number he can track you down. When you relocate try to get the utilities in someone elses name. And why can't one of your children go with you??? My heart aches for your situation...best of luck...keep us all updated.....
