Hi,

My family and I plan on moving from Nj to Oregon. I'm originally from the south and never liked Jersey. Was thinking of moving to the Salem area but want to make sure we are moving into a low crime area with good schools... Have friends that live in the Keizer area.. Would love some input

THANKS

Never lived in either of those communities. I have always been on the Coast of Oregon or Washington due to my job but from what I know they are both fine and there is not 'big worries' I can think of.

South and West Salem would be considered low crime areas by most peoples standards as well as good chunks of Keizer. It just depends on your definition of low crime and good schools.

Meaning, moving from north Jersey schools and dont want them to go into schools that arent as good. As far as crime, where we are at currently, we dont have any. Why the move?? This state is so expensive it's insane
