Honestly, this year spring time is best I've ever experienced. It feels like a cool Hawaiian morning. Humid, moist and mild. Loving this!

That's quite true. People forget that most of Oregon is less-crowded than it has been in decades. Not only did eight of the 36 counties lose population overall between 2000 and 2010, but many of the others lost rural population and pulled people into a handful of larger towns.

Sure, if you insist on living in the northern half of the I-5 corridor, things might seem more crowded in Oregon...

The border signs said "Welcome to Oregon. We hope that you enjoy your visit". I think they were removed in 1979 due to Governor Attiyeh's dislike of them.
