Hi there!

Well God willing we may be headed back to Oregon for a job with the Running Y Ranch!
We are so excited!

What I am trying to find out is, does anyone know what elementary schools are near the Running Y Ranch?

On the map it looks like the Ranch is between KFalls and Medford, so I am not sure which direction to go to look for schools.

Any help??
Thanks in advance!

Running Y is about 8 miles from downtown Klamath Falls. Medford is 65 miles west of Running Y.

Yea, it is just on the west side of town. Nice area. I would just look at schools closes to it in Google Earth or something. Congratulations on the job!

Thank you so much! we are really excited to hear from them.
I am glad to know it's not far from town to the Running Y.

I'd suggest, if at all possible, visiting first. If housing at the Running Y is not part of the job, you may want to live in a part of town that has more kids. Running Y is primarily a second home and retirement home development - not a lot of kids out that way (there are exceptions, of course).

In list form (this list comes from a friend who lives there):

Pros: the walking trails, the skating rink in the winter, the indoor pool, the small market, generally very quiet. Golf, if you play golf.

Cons: the maintenance has slid quite a bit in the last few years, the percentage of unsold/for sale homes is high, the restaurants that open and then close, dealing with the board over minor issues, the two routes to town can be treacherous in the winter, the uncertainty about the new owners, one of the "buggiest" areas in town, especially during midge season.
