Hello,

I lived in Florence in the late 70s and 80s, then moved to Eugene in 1988. Now that I qualify for senior residences, I'm wanting to move back to Florence for health reasons. I don't do well in the extreme heat or cold of the inland areas, or the high pollen and pollution here in the Willamette Valley. My health was much better on the coast, and now that Florence is even rated the #1 retirement spot by USA Today, I would like to do some searching in advance of taking what will be for me a difficult trip over there to look around in person.

What I'm wanting to know is how to find a list of senior apartment residences in Florence. I honestly thought I could do a search, but there just isn't a list that comes up that gives price ranges, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

The one place I have heard of is an assisted living facility which is not likely what you need.

Eugene isn't far away from Florence. Go look. Call the Senior Center, (541) 997-8844, ask if they will but you in touch with someone willing to talk to you about rentals.

I hope someone will be able to answer the question I asked, not what I didn't ask. I have my own personal reasons for wanting to know... is there someplace on the internet that has a list of senior residences in Florence, Oregon, with information such as rent prices, etc.? If the answer is to any other question than that, I already know, but those aren't what I'm trying to find out.
