Thanks Steve, appreciate the help. Apparently we now have 3 choices with George Fox: Newburg, Salem or Tigard.

Oh and we currently live in Southern California but have lived all over.

The actual Campus is in Newburg. The Salem facility is in the Capitol City Business Center at 4600 25th Avenue NE Suite 150 in Salem, OR 97301, and is just a few rooms with offices and off campus classes. The Portland Center near Tigard at 12753 S.W. 68th Ave. Suite 185 Portland, OR 97223, is also not a campus but a satilite facility. I wonder if you were aware of that. It is a good school though. My Grand Daughter had a full ride scholership. Most (95%) of the students live on campus.

I did not know that Steve so I called the school and you are right! For the type of masters degree she will need, she will be at the Newburg campus. Hmm I wonder how much this changes my favorite cities as I dont want her driving more than 10-15 miles to school.

McMinnville or Sherwood would work. The issue is that Newberg is well off the highway so it isn't a city that is easily commuted to from other cities.

Thanks Silverfall, Maybe this is why 95% of the students live on campus as Steve said.

I just spoke to my daughter and she has the option of Full time at Newburg and Part time at Salem or Portland Campuses. She told us to stop worrying about where she is going to go to school and find a town we will be happy in. She said she will cross that bridge when she comes to it. So that allows me to focus more on where wed actually be happy now. Cant always follow the kids can we?

Thanks for all your help, both of you!

Being near Newburg opens up a whole new world of choices. Like Salem, McMinville, Sherwood and a ton of small towns..

Katyia86 if you husband works in Beaverton the town of Hillsboro or any of the housing areas in between are good options. I think you asked about Kaiser Perm. in another thread, the have (or soon will have - construction well underway) a hospital near Evergreen Parkway and 194th in Hillsboro. Kaiser has a number of clinics in the area.

After spending the day in Cook Park (Tualitin) I would also consider that area. I gained a new feeling for the Tualitin area.
