I have heard Newberg and Bull mountain are very different but how?
Small town vs area?
Less community feel?
Can you help me understand the differences?

Thanks!

Bull Mountain is a new area, not a city, and overcrowded.

Newberg is an Old City, with a lot of new stuff.

Bull Mountain is slowly being annexed by Tigard.

I hear there are new homes going up there by a builder I am familiar with and I love their homes. I was curious how it compared to Newberg which has stolen my heart.

"Drive" around Bull Mountain using Google Street View to get a feel for how crowded it is.

The homes are nice looking...and kind of expensive.

Most of the newer developments in the Portland metro area are dense. This is done to mitigate the cost of site services particularly water, sewer, and roads. Older neighborhoods tend to have larger lots.
