Hotel Coupons (hotels, prices, deals)

For those of you planning to spend a few days checking out Oregon,

I just picked up one of those free newsletters at the store. It's called hotel coupons dot com.

I can't vouch for the quality of the listed hotels, but the specials look pretty darn good. It might possibly be a way to save a few dollars while taking a look around. Coupons were time specific. Off season deals are always a lot better than summer prices.

Once when I was on a road trip I picked up that book but when I actually went to make the reservation they said I could not use it. Many did not have a date when it started and when they expired or you had to do a walk in which for some it is ok but some not.
Though you have to be familiar with the area when I was staying in a hotel in CA I used Priceline and Hotwire to bid for hotels and I got a good deal on some hotels. I agree though cost depends so much at time of year
