Well derp, what's more news worthy? A meth bust or something as common as a drunk driver? Obviously more people drive drunk than people smoke meth, but DUIs are so common that they're not nearly as news worthy.

Haha, what? Are you trying to say that Washington is initiating a tax which will ensure all marijuana to be high quality? Sounds interesting..... Oh and marijuana lingers and smells a fraction of what tobacco does, and as for "second hand smoke" unless you're in a 6x8 foot room and someone is blowing it in your face second hand smoke for mj is not exactly an issue.

The stats I am talking about are the "police blotter" which lists all arrests, not in news stories.

You might look at the latest plans put out by the State regarding this. It looks pretty much like a non-issue.

Actually I did hear something of that nature on the news. I wish I could remember but I wasn't paying complete attention. It had something to do with making sure that the stuff wasn't contaminated or fake or something or that people would be getting just what they were paying for. There would be some kind of quality control put in place.

Maybe the people on the Washington forum would know about this. It could have been just a rumor.

I was talking to a security guard at Seven Feathers a week ago. He says there is a lot of meth in town. When there are drugs around, they end up at the casino, so they are the first to see it. The Indian casinos are the last place you can smoke indoors, and tweakers all smoke tobacco.

Well, I left Washington state in 2010, so that's not a long time ago. I was in Seattle area for the most part. People who smoke pot doesn't bother me much as the people who do meth and others. I've seen plenty of people smoking pot when I grew up in California.

I'm just debating whether to move to California or back to Washington state but Oregon may be other option. The main reason, new life for my family and live closer to my parents since they are seniors.

The tribe has spoken!!!

As for truth in labeling if it says Acapulco Gold or Maui Wowie it better damn well be the genuine article and not some mediocre midwestern marijuana!

Years ago I recall the HR Manager of a lumber mill in southern Oregon lamenting the number of applicants who failed their drug test. I responded, "Marijuana problem?" He answered, "No, that is the cash crop. Meth is the problem."
