My family and I are looking to move to Oregon. Preferably on the coast but I have heard that Portland is the most LGBT friendly place. Looking for something not too expensive with a very laid back atmosphere. We are from Montana where there isn't much to do so a place with or near activities would be great. Any ideas?

In Oregon, the coast is primarily a retirement and tourism belt. There's no economy of scale there, and most jobs are minimum-wage service jobs. Portland and Eugene are probably your best bets.
