That is true but you better look at the requirements to receive the Common Core waiver to NCLB and to receive the funding that goes with it.

Oregon's implementation may be different but not by much.

Also remember that Common Core adoption opens school systems up to receive grants from the Gates and Broad Foundations, among others. My system has found that it's difficult to wean yourself from those teats.

Obviously you and your niece must not have had special needs kids or gifted kids in your classroom then.

You would not know what you are talking about ........... Leave the teaching and comments about it to the professionals who do it for a living.

Stick with real-estate.

I do. Have a special needs kiddo and am well aware of the insane forms the teachers have to fill out. It's okay. We disagree as usual.

Great. My special needs family members were forced to go to school in Salem. Raped by staff. Sterilized without permission, and robbed by the state and staff of their Social Security. Times have changed, and yes, special Ed teachers do more paperwork. But most teachers are not in Special Education.

38% of SK kids are designated special ed, limited language (ESL), or TAG. That's a lot of useless paperwork. We can disagree that making almost 40% of teachers fill out useless paperwork isn't a big deal and detracts from the learning of the kids.

LOL, this reminds me of an old adage... Those that know, share, those that can, do, and those that neither know nor can... teach.

I am pretty sure that shows what you know.

Most teachers put up with your undisciplined little ankle bitters all day while you lollygag around the office cooler. The liberals tie their hands and prevent discipline in the classroom. None of this is the teachers fault.
