There are drivers in Corvallis and around the state including Eugene who are driving around with so much bass pumping out of their cars, it leaves us asking the question, do they have more bass than brains? The answer is yes, if you have to drive around with as much sound pressure levels as a 747 jet engine or have the metal of your vehicle banging so badly that everyone within 1/2 a mile radius is disturbed by it, then most likely you have more bass than brains and you shouldn't be driving to begin with, since you are more than likely a hazard to yourself as well as other drivers. If you or someone you know has more bass than brains, then you should seriously consider these facts before it's too late!

r

That's funny because it's true, the words are spelled the same and it causes a lot of confusion, maybe we should just stick to calling them boom cars instead.

Kids will be kids. Don't tell me you never turned your radio up to unacceptable levels and your parents yelled at you to turn it down.

My only problem with this is when your bass interferes with my bass. Makes it hard to follow the rhythm. Seriously though the loud bass does negate the good fences make good neighbors rule. Can't fence out the loud noise from a car down the street unfortunately.

Of course I played in a metal band when I was a kid and I am sure my neighbors growing up loved me and my friends. Our basement did little to dampen the noise I am sure.

There are noise ordinances in most places that can be used to deal with excessive bass. Getting someone to come out and write a citation is another thing though. Of course if weed gets legalized the police will have to find something else to do. So maybe that's the ticket? Legalize weed and ticket the boom cars!

Is there a reason we have multiple threads by the same poster on this?
