Can anyone recommend a decent RV park that is for full time RV'rs in the Medford/Ashland area?

I will be relocating to the area from FL this summer where I full time RV. I would rather pay a little more and be in a better part of town. Not looking for a run down park full of sketchy people.

Thanks, Online reviews are mostly weekend campers.

You will have a problem finding a spot where you can live year round. The reason is that state law will treat the park as a mobile home park. Note that most RV parks have a limit on your stay. As a result you will probably need to move your RV from one park to another over a year. To the best of my knowledge there are no 'condo' type RV parks in southern Oregon.

We are former full time RVers so just being curious I looked up parks in Ashland ..You should use Trail Life Campers guide or the chamber of commerce and get phone numbers and call some of the places..Salem and Silverton both have nice parks with year around residents in them..
Good luck

Try "Moon Mountain RV Resort" in "Grants Pass Oregon". It is in southern Oregon and is a small but very nice place to stay and I believe you can stay all year round.

The biggest limit is on the age of the RV. The park owners want to be able to recover their money if they are forced to impound the RV for non-payment of rent. By the time they pay towing, storage and legal costs, that can add up to several thousand dollars. If the RV won't bring that at auction, typically about 50% of real market value, they won't let you in.

There are a couple nice parks not far from where I live that won't take any RV older than 10 years. Of course, if it's a Marathon coach that cost a quarter million new, they will make exceptions.

Thanks Larry, I have called a hand full of rv parks in the area and most said the rv has to be newer than 1995. I have a 2003 in good condition (other than what the Florida sun has done) so I should be ok.
I also intend to pay my rent on time every time. I wasn't aware of parks looking to recover lost rent by impounding rv's That's a new one to me...

Thanks for the input & info. I'll be heading your way next week.
