Well, how many woke up today with frozen pips? We did and last year also. Last year the pips broke. This is not fun to fix pips in the cold winter morning.
Yes they are wrapped but that doesn't seem to help on very cold mornings.

How about all of you in Oregon. Do you get the same thing? Maybe out in the County where the wells are.

No frozen pipes here on the coast. When I lived in the eastern part of the state that was a problem. Usually the pipes had to be wraped.

It freezes all the time here but codes require water pipes to be inside the heated areas so I never get a frozen pipe.

I wonder how the Jacksonville County area will be on pips. I am thinking of that area. glad to hear no broken pips for you on this cold day.

The high desert is just to cold for me.

You think its funny making fun of others. To me that is not a very nice person.

I see on many of your post you have more problems than I do. I think I would look inside before you judge others.

The pipe just above my well used to freeze when I lived in the Applegate Valley - even though it was wrapped. Last winter it froze several times just after sunrise. I put a heat lamp like you use for baby chickens near it, and had no more problems.

P.S. Jacksonville is in Jackson County - I lived in Jackson County, out in the sticks.
