Yeah, it's a rural school, but it's got a Roseburg address.

In addition, CBS Seattle reports that “Joe Olson, former president of the college, told The Associated Press the school has only one security officer on duty at a time, and that person isn’t armed.”

If there were two or three students armed in different corners of the room, the shooter might have shot the teacher, but no students would have died. That is the problem with victim zones. The criminal has the advantage. Having the lone security employee unarmed just advertises that fact.

As to why, the shooter asked his victims what religion they were. Hey "authorities"; That's a clue. Don't lose your clue. Maybe some enterprising student wrote down the plate number from the shooter's car. What have the "authorities" not released the shooter's name?

This is a tragic event. I have a relative who lives near Roseburg. I have been worried a bit at work yesterday. I wonder where the slimeball get the gun(s)?

Maybe from an ad in the newspaper, at the local gravel pit or from a casual contact with some anonymous person.

I sent prayers to the injured and condolences to all who lost someone in this sense-less shooting.

This is making me very nervous, and it does not make sense.

They waited until midnight until last night to say who the shooter was.

Now they won't give out the motive.

WHY IS THE MEDIA HOLDING BACK INFORMATION ON THIS?

With any major crime people ask, "Why?"

Those killers have no conscious, are consumed with evil thoughts, are mentally unstable, and obviously have no concern for anyone, including themselves.

Where does it stem from? There are many that will say they're driven by Satan; others claim mental illness; and yet others may say that many who are obsessed with violent video games end up believing those games are the 'real' world. And the world the rest of us know is surreal for them. They've killed so many in the video games that to continue on that path with people is nothing more than a continuation of the online game.

Might as well ask why so-called 'normal' people in our country end up joining the ISIS movement.
