I have been reading the Oregon forum for awhile now, southern Oregon, and have never seen a thread on Tri City. We lived there from 50 to 56 I was 13, when we moved to Calif. for work. We had a acre right at the edge of the forest my dad built a house there and I have many fond memories of playing and hiking with friends.
There were some fairly new houses in our immediate neighborhood.
I don't remember any of a town at all, and barely remember the school. Playing marbles was the thing I remember for boys at recess.
I visit my brothers family in Beaverton each Christmas.
Thank's for any info.

I believe Tri City is a unincorporated area near Myrtle Creek and a little south of Roseburg, along I 5.

Yes, it is between Myrtle Creek and the Seven Feathers Casino, but I don't think it is an actual city or town on its own, it is just part of the city of Myrtle Creek. I have driven through but never stopped. There is a Win-Co distribution warehouse on one side of the highway and a sort of ramshackle RV park with a small out door wooden stage on the other.

Edit: nope, looked it up, the RV park I am thinking of is further along. The big blob on the west of the highway is the WinCo warehouse, though.

I've drove by that area before looking for new fishin' holes...

It's close to Riddle. I drove the Tri City unincorporated area road. I didn't see much of anything there. Some older homes/ mobile homes, etc. It takes you into Myrtle Creek.

Thank You for your replies. I hope to get back there someday just to look around and now I know not to be disappointed.
Somehow I don't remember Myrtle Creek at all, I'll ask my sister.
