Hi People from Oregon!

I need a manual for my old wood stove. It's not EPA certified, so I need to remove it before I can sell my house. But not if it's smaller than 350,000 Btu.
So, I'm looking for any trace of the company that was (or is?) located in Mill City, Oregon. Solar Key Inc., and the label on the back of the stove says "Warnock Hensey International."
Or maybe anybody has a manual for this model and can sell it to me?
Or just look up the Btu?

Please help.

According to google, Warnock Hersey is a testing lab that tested many products, including woodstoves. That isn't the name of the woodstove.

Anyone knows about this Solar Key Inc? Have they been sold, or maybe merged with some company, and/or changed its name?

Sometimes there is a nameplate usually on the back of the stove. A mirror and a flashlight would help find it.

350,000 BTU would be a huge wood stove.

Old post... but FYI...

yeah, average woodstove is 40,000 - 60,000btu. Heats ~ 1200sf

This outdoor furnace is 340,000btu
https://www.pineviewwoodstoves.com/m...r-wood-boilers

Think 2-4x the size of an outhouse. Some are fueled by those huge straw bales. (1200#)

You can show calculations for your potenial BTU output using the size of the firebox, heat output, and flue dia, and length. (Each species of firewood also has a BTU rating) https://forestry.usu.edu/forest-products/wood-heating

A good spot to learn about older woodstoves (including Solar Key, Inc.)
