Fall is a great time to get ready for the 6+ months of fun in the snow we have coming our way! With the cooling temps I like to do a lot of hiking and mountain biking before the snow hits.

Take a designated driver.
The Biergarten is a hoot. After a few you can really get into the polka music, and one of the guys let me play his alpenhorn. There are lots of less-than-healthy foods, but the Germans really make the best wurst.
Really, you need a designated driver. If you do Okoberfest right, you will be in no condition to get behind the wheel.
