Of all the things the epidemic has cost us, I miss live music the most. The local song writer's group does not hold open mic nights now. The weekly jazz jam has been called off. My choral group is on indefinite hold. The last touring show I saw was Postmodern Jukebox.

I have no idea who gig workers like musicians are making a living. I hope they are able to pay rent and buy beans.

Thanks, Hawk.

She is hardly a pup. She's 14 years old, and will be 15 in October. Small dogs live long lives, but she is amazing. She still goes on half mile walks with us three times a day, and leaps to the back of the couch to stand guard in the front window. The snakebite took her down a ways, but she seems to be recovering well, and enjoys being pampered.
