My attorney sister is thinking of moving to Oregon. Her dream job is to work in a position similar to what she would do at County Council in California (i.e., represent children (and their interests) in family court. Does anyone know if such a job exists with the city/county/state in Oregon and, if so, who my sister could speak to about a position? She's a great lawyer and a super person (I say that will all objectivity ).

Thanks for your help!

We have attorneys that represent children who are wards of the state. I would contact the DOJ and they might be able to direct her.

I don't know if they are hired by the state or counties for the kiddos. I used to work as a child counselor and talked with the kids attorney's all of the time.
