Yes, Grants Pass does have four distinct seasons. The spring starts around April and my nose can attest to that (allergies)...... by June the rain stops and the summer is very dry. August and September can have some days with temps up to 100. The fall is my favorite season when the air has a crisp cool feeling and by mid-October it starts to rain again and it's a welcome relief. Winter is cold and bleak, with periods of sunshine inbetween the piddle rain. Occasionally it will snow but it does not last longer than a day or two because the sun melts it away.

Personally, I don't care for winter mornings when there is frost on my car... cuz I'm too lazy to go outside to defrost. Therefore I wait until the mid-day sun melts off the frost and black ice on the road. The winter days are very short...... sky black at 4:40 PM and I don't drive at night cuz I live out in the country and fear hitting Bambi
