Can anyone tell me what the commute is like from Corvallis to Eugene? I am graduating from nursing school and moving out to Oregon this summer and will be in either Corvallis or Eugene, depending on where my boyfriend goes to school. However, I really like the looks of Sacred Heart Medical Center in Eugene and hope to work there no matter where we move. Google maps says it is a 45min-1hr commute and was wondering if that was accurate. Thanks for the help!!

We just got back from Corvallis a week ago. We took the back road (99 I think) on a Sunday afternoon (no traffic) and it did take 45 minutes. This was from downtown Corvallis to the beginning of Eugene. Also..it was not raining, which might have slowed things a bit. So I think it's accurate. Kim

I commute from Harrisburg to the South Hills of Eugene every day on 99W and it generally takes me 45 minutes. I would say plan for at least an hour from door to door. 99W is the fast part of the drive - it's once you get into Eugene with ALL the stoplights on 7th and the 30mph that kills me. (99W turns into 7th once you hit Eugene)
