I'm torn among Eugene, Medford and Bend. They all three look like nice places. Where would you say is the best place to live in Oregon?

I'd second the notion that the 3 places you mention are extremely different from one another; choice would depend on criteria

Do your research.... Look into the Salem / Keizer area... We live in Keizer and it is the best... Small town just on the outside of a big town... 15 min north your in the country, 15 min south your in the State Capital... Keizer has some of the best schools... My kids go to Clear Lake Elementry... Check it out!!

Lake Oswego is a very established community with gorgeous landscaping, especially in the downtown area. Flower baskets hang along the streets during summer. Lake Oswego also offers a wide variety of parks and access to Oswego Lake during summertime.
The school district is the best in the state. Every school in the district is ranked 'exceptional'. No other school district in Oregon had every school (K-12) ranked that high. Furthermore, 89% of residents in Lake Oswego have completed at least some college and the crime in Lake Oswego is extremely low.
Downtown Portland is a 10 to 15 minute drive, and Lake Oswego is very close to Bridgeport Village and Washington Square Mall for all your shopping needs.
Many homes are expensive (especially along Oswego Lake), but many areas in Lake Oswego such as Lake Grove and River Grove have homes of moderate prices.
If you simply google "Lake Oswego" and click images, you will see what a wonderful community it is!

Salem -Keizer is my pick..I live across I-5 from Keizer and use a lot of the business there ..We just enjoy salem, keizer and silverton too...We are retired and empty nesters so schools aren't an issue..
