Can someone please help me? I am considering a move to the Medford area thanks to a possible job opening. I am afraid the offer may be too low to afford to live there and fly home to the Northeast occasionally to visit family.
What is the relative cost of living in that region as compared to places like the NY-NJ-CT tri-state area and what could be considered a decent salary for a man with a wife and looking to adopt?

Thank you, I appreciate any help.

Hello Butters. The cost of living in Medford is over the national average. However if you compare it to N.Y. city it would be less expensive.

Part of the hgher cost is housing. It may or may not seem expensive to you. I'd suggest looking for local newspaper online or look at Realtor dot com for homes to buy.
