It's really not too smart to count on internet resources and GPS when it comes to remote locations.

ETA I took a look at landwatch, and I don't see how it's "luring" people to the area. It clearly states there's no power, no utilities, and no phone, so I'm not sure why you expected a nice little subdivision with paved streets.

Did you look at that map? No reason other than the way the map is presented.

It's a taxlot map. Maybe you mistook the property lines for streets, idk. A simple Google search would have told you differently.

We call it Table Land it's remote with mostly bad roads, dry summers and the winters are hard. The locals will let you know if you belong there or not, most don't like outsiders. Take a good look at the property before buying it. Most people don't make it and the property gets resold over and over by crooked realitors who make a good living off other peoples faded dreams.

He only had the 4 posts in 2009 and never posted again, so we don't know.

Hi Kevin
I bought property in Oregon Pines with my ex-husband almost 50 years ago. My brother and his wife now live there. They live in a mobile home and have several RVs as well. They have a well. Batteries and solar panels etc. propane too. They do have cellphone and internet through their phone service. It’s very remote. Beatty is the closest town for PO Box. Gas. Blu has some services but they drive to Klamath Falls for any major shopping. It’s definitely doable in an RV. But you might want to look into a mobile instead. That will require a septic system for sure. Even with an RV with holding tanks you eventually (sooner than later) have to empty them!! Hope this helps. It would definitely be a long commute if you have to go out to work.
