Here's a place where we Oregonians can compare our daily weather.

Please state something about your location: whatever you're comfortable with. Zip code is okay.

Tuesday November 10 ~noonish Willamette Valley: Eugene

It's a bit cloudy but bright & lightly windy. Dry for the moment - haven't noticed any rain today but then I've been on the computer non-stop. 54 degrees outside. The sky is a beautiful blue!

Willamette Valley, Eugene: it's been raining like crazy all night. But it isn't FREEZING yet so yay. Mid 40's & it's almost 7am.

So instead of picking a single day with good weather, would it be representative to post the weather for every Tuesday? We will look forward to a report for 11/17.

Seems like we're trying to devolve the power of the internet here. Why not just use Weather Underground or Accuweather instead? That would give you on-demand access to local conditions without the filter of hometown pride and exaggeration. Better yet, post a link for a local weather cam so lurkers can SEE what the weather is like in your neck of the woods.

I think that personal descriptions are much better, especially when the daily array of weather can be described, which is something that isn't captured on a weather site. I love this idea! We're having beautiful weather here at the moment on the coast. MUCH BETTER than the tornado which hit my house Friday night!!!! Did the tornado show up on any weather site?!!!!! I think not! I didn't even get a warning!

Beach Lover so no one gave a warning to all of you on that storm..Just doesn't make sense...It was raining like crazy here friday night but what happened to you is sorta unreal.
Back to Salem we have had rain, and sun and more rain today..Its really been kinda of nice and not really cold out..
I think this thread once everyone understands what we are trying to do will give our out of state guests a real idea on what weather is like here..
Lets keep it up..

We've got some clouds and sun here on he coast today. I'm in the Coos Bay/North Bend area. Mostly it's sunny but you can see the clouds going by. The temps are in the 50's. It may have rained last night but I wasn't out in it. Everything looks fresh, and the air feels clean.
